Description : In the capital, renovating buildings dating from the 60s and 70s is occurring at a sustained pace yet each one has its own specificities. In the case of number 26-38 located in Rue de l'Industrie and built in 1963, the distinctive feature involves both its architecture and its use. Indeed, the building comprises 6 car park levels (of which part is public), a 3-level socle where a Health & Fitness Club has chosen to set up and 14 floors designed for offices. The socle façade has been covered with a large glass curtain behind which a polished and partly perforated corrugated stainless steel sheet has been placed to allow the daylight to penetrate the premises.
Technicalities : This building displays a concrete structure with pierre de France façades and heat insulation enamelled aluminium window frames, with reflective double glazing for the tower. As for the socle, it is equipped with a glass wall-curtain façade. The completion work done on the office areas and the fitness centre is of great convenience with induction-unit air conditioning throughout.
